DARUL QIRAT COURSE AT SHAHJALAL MOSQUE MANCHESTER
(Intensive Qirat and Tajweed course)
During the summer Holiday we organise a four week special Qur’an training course with Tajweed. By completing this 6 year intensive Qirat course a learner qualifies as a ‘Qari’. Alhamdulillah, many students have completed the course over the years.

Exam Date:
Qirat Exam : Tuesday 19th August 2025
Tajweed Exam : Wednesday 20th August 2025
Khamis & Sadis (Class 5 & 6) Exam :
Saturday 16th August 2025, at DHLNW, Oldham, OL8 1TJ
Award Ceremony : Sunday 31st August 2025, at 11:30 am
Certificates and Medals will be given to all participants
Trophies Special prizes will be given to outstanding students
Children will be taught Recitation of the Qur’an with Tajweed, rules of Tajweed, memorisation of small Surahs, Du’as and basic rules of Salaah, Wudhu as well as some Islamic stories. It is a complete course of Qirat, so by successfully completing this 6 years course of Qirat, a child will get the certificate as `Qualified Qari’.
We will provide snacks for the kids along with some sports activities. Certificates, Medals, and Trophies will be awarded to the successful students on the award Ceremony on Sunday 31st August 2025.
